I need some help deciding a plot for a manga, the main character has spiky black hair not too long but not short, the story line of this manga is that a 15 year old boy (he's short for his age) wakes up to find a little (meaning kid-like) version of him sleeping next to him, same hairstyle, same clothes, same.....ears? yeah, he has wolf-like features ,including ears, teeth and a tail. He also finds that he himself now has these features also. The "shadow" as he calls it (because the mini-him can disappear into his shadow) follows him around everywhere and says he takes any orders except to leave. He is forced to hide the existence of his "shadow" and also the appearance of his ears, wolf teeth, and tail. This is done by never smiling or opening his mouth to wide, a black hooded sweatshirt to cover the ears, and some dark jeans. This appearance makes him look and act depressed. The next day a new girl joins his class. She is taller than him, has dark blue hair, dark blue clothes, dark blue book bag.......dark blue ears! He throws a note into her locker and waits at the park fro her after school. He falls asleep on a bench outside the park and wakes up with his head on her lap. He abruptly sits up blushing. Smiling she holds up the note and tugs his hood down, showing his jet black ears. His "shadow" appears and stalks to her shadow sniffing low to the ground. A small fox-featured girl with dark blue hair, ears, tail, and clothes rises from the shadow and the boys "shadow" jumps back in fright. She looks confused then chases after him. He quickly runs away (being faster than her) and into the park. She chases him and finally pins him down and starts licking him on his face. He blushes and scurries back to the boy. he jumps up on his lap and pushes his body under the boys arm....how is it so far?
This is just a small excerpt from my ideas but and suggestions would be helpful. I did not put in the conversations between main character and "shadow" or main character and girl. No names yet still working on it.
This is a little more detailed excerpt about the main character's personality/story
He is a 15 years old and 4' 6". He has jet black hair and dark green eyes. His hair is semi-long (not past shoulders) and spiky. He has wolf-like features (sharp teeth, wolf ears, short tail, sharp claws(more human looking though).
He always wears a black hoodie and black jeans. (so basically all of him is black except his skin.
He smart but tries not to show it. He hates taking order form anyone. He also doesn't like people who take orders. He has his own way of doing things without much help. Its very hard for someone to make friends with him but when they do he is extremely loyal and won't let anything harm the ones he cares about. Very athletic and quick. Not good with computers and any fancy technology. Quick to action and tries to make his friend laugh anyway he can. He acts completely different when he's with friends than when he is out and about. Because he acts like a jerk to everybody else he gets into many fights . This leaves him most of the time with bandages and scratches. He a people person with his friends but can;t seem to get along with the girl he likes. He always makes the best out of everything and tries to resolve any conflict straight away. Mostly with force though this rarely every works. He stronger than his small demeanor makes him out to be.
He belongs to a group of teenagers who fight along side their "shadows" (basically mini versions of the character who are like loyal servants and can disappear back into the master's shadow) each of these teenagers have their own and they formed a small group to battle against those who would hurt them (only a select few have the "shadows", each character who has a shadow grew more animal-like depending on which animal their shadow decided to embrace as his sponsor to this world. My main character's shadow chose a wolf so he has wolf-like features another chracter's shadow (female, also the shadow of the one he likes) chose a fox therefore giving the girl fox like features.
In order to hide these features they use this special technology(which the main character doesn't understand at all) ,that was created by a member of their group, which makes their animal-like features invisible to others. The main reason that caused this group to be formed was because normal humans feel this impulse(not knowingly) to dislike these select few who were granted a "shadow". But each character doesn't receive their "shadow until sometime around their 14th birthday. (meaning my main character has had his "shadow for a year).
Later on in the manga(well I'm not sure if it's a manga actually, not yet anyway) the forces at work against these teens find out their identities and track them down. they are forced into hiding after one of the characters is murdered in her sleep. Her shadow was able to escape and warned the others before they were harmed. The next day the families, and everybody else completely forgets that they ever existed (this being the work of the bad guys( not sure of term yet or even what they are) )
They work together to fight against the bad guys to regain what they have lost, make a place for their kind in this world, and save any others that are still in danger of death.
