| I've been studying Japanese for almost 3 years now and since I don't get many opportunities to talk in Japanese I was hoping someone on here could practice with me. | |

| Yay :D Hmm....アニメの中どれが一番好きですか。日本のおんがくとアメリカのおんがくどちらの方が好きですか。日本に行ったことがありますか。 とにかく、私はバオリんひいて、えを書いて、日本語のべきょうをしています。あなたのしゅみは何ですか。 Sorry for the lack of creativity, I could probably say a lot more than that if I knew what to talk about. | |

| Sorry, I don't know any Japanese. I would love to learn the language and am planning on taking a course on it to see if I would like to learn more about it but right now my knowledge is limited to a small number of romanji. I think it's cool that you can speak it pretty fluently though. | |

| Haha, I swear I am nowhere near fluent, the stuff I said was really basic. XD You should take it, although learning kanji can seem imtimidating, if you just take your time and get a good book such as Heisig Remembering the Kanji, it becomes much simpler. And the speaking part is very easy, and the majority of the grammar is much simpler than in most romance languages. | |

| Since I don't know any Japanese you don't have to look at this site, but if you're interested in learning anime/manga related Japanese slang you can look at this website. I found it interesting and it at least makes a good read. | |

Thanks for the site, I took a peek at it and it looks really interesting. I do have some manga in Japanese that I attempt to read so I'll definitely check this out. Clovers_Gal, if you want to learn more Japanese, you should get Japanese For Busy People 1. It was the workbook I used in my private classes before I started taking Japanese in school and it's very helpful. It gives a short dialogue in Japanese with an English translation, then points out a few grammar points that were used. Then over the next few pages it will teach those grammar points with examples and then will give you exercises and stuff. I got mine off of Amazon, and last time I got one it was about $32.00 | |

| I know the basics, like hello, excuse me, thank you, goodbye, wow, cute, idiot xD, really, cold, hot. But I bought a book and it's teaching only the romaji, and the long a and the short a, like Obasan is Aunt, but Obasan with the long A with the line over it means grandmother, short a "ah" long a "ahh" Oh-Bahh-san and Oh-Bah-San, which on means grandmother? that goes for grandfather and uncle too! ^^ The book I bought is really good! It teaches grammer in it too! And it also gives me lil' games and there is a chapter where is says "10 thing not to do in Japan" I read it, and was surprised! It also comes with a CD so I can hear how to prenouce the words right! I only know Romanji, so when I know romaji I think the kanji, kana, katakana, and hiragana should be easy to learn, But I mean how to write the symboles, I did the "ah" symbole once and it looks awful! I got the lines in wrong places! but I got help from this website! ^^ http://genki.japantimes.co.jp/self/self.en.html I like sharing this! | |
