For anyone interested in it, the story goes that a 15-year-old named Honda Tohru lost her mother in an accident recently and since then she has been living in a tent in the heart of a nearby forest. While going to school, she noticed a house where one of her classmates, Yuki, and his cousin, Shigure, live...Both in the Sohma family and as most of the people in the Sohma family, they are cursed with a kinda strange curse.
It's only 26 episodes and it's really lovely. Shoujo,drama anime but i've heard that the anime is very different than the manga but i haven't read the manga..^^ The only drawback is that in the site I watched it [ http://www.animejolt.com ] it was on Megavideo..And just as I say, it's better not to watch a good anime than see it in Megavideo... Furuba [aka fruits basket] took me like a month to finish it despite the fact that it's only 26 episodes.. [an amount of episodes that i can easily see in 1 week more or less] But it's one of my favorite animes and i suggest you see it even on megavideo...It worths every punch you give at the desktop when Megavideo stops the episode to tell you that the options are: you pay from your pocket money an outrageous amount of money just to see anime or to wait for like an hour to refresh the page and wait more for the video to buff again and the entire world can collapse in the waiting time but who cares?? | Fruits Basket is a classic.
No matter what, you can't hate it. It's such an innocent, beautiful story~
But if you ask me, read the manga.
It explains thing better and is more tear-jerking | |

| lol i watched it twice so far ( on my third time) xD and i love it, it covers some great plot twists,
i love that she lives in a tent and gets busted for it xD made me laugh, she was too cute

| The manga is a lot better than the anime but I hate how she changed her drawing style half way through the series. How she drew before was way better. | |
