How many episodes are there?

How many Full Metal Alchemist episodes are out there? Are new episodes being released?

Well, there are two different types of Full metal Alchemist.

One is the original Full metal Alchemist, and the other is the remake of it which is called FMA: Brotherhood.

The first one, FMA; is no longer running. It ran from 2003-2004. It came out with a movie and a few special DVD releases in 2005. After that, it never showed anything more.

But in 2009, they came out with a new series. It was exactly like the first one except it ws based on the manga and did not go off on it’s own plot. It started running in April of this year ans id still going today. New episodes are uploaded on YouTube every week.
