Has anyone ever introduced you to an anime and spoiled it in the same day?

My dad showed me neon genisis but he told me there was a character I would get a crush on for sure, the character was Kaworu. He showed me the one episode with him in it and then prohibited me from watching the series, but either way for those who have watched neon gen do you think thats mean?

So my question to you has anyone showed you an anime that you fell in love with then spoiled the ending by showing you the last episode or somthing like that? I cannot be the only one.

Not the same day, but atleast the same week. I was watching Code Geass, and chatting with someone on Aim and I told them I was watching Code Geass. And they were like "I love that series, it's so sad that (spoiler) died in the middle of R2." Then I typed "..... Thanks for spoiling it for me, I'm only on the first season" and them they said "ohh... my bad." and logged off.
I thought it was kind of funny. Not the spoiler part of course.

I did that too my dad because he spoiled Prof. Layton for me so I showed him the end of Code Geass saying "You havn't watched it in three weeeks, this is so funny" he was annoyed andhasn't watched it since We spoil stuff for eachother all the time.
