Is the manga much different from the anime?

im debating whether or not to read it. sometimes the anime skips good parts that the manga has, but also sometimes the manga has much worse art. should i read it, or not?

They are both awesome
The anime starts off the same as the manga, but at about halfway, it totally goes off the whole plot.
So if you read/watch them both, it sort of feels like you are watching two different series.

the manga art is good, pretty much the same to the anime.
It's a good read, but it isn't necessary.

Yes, The manga and anime are very different. The anime goes off in a complete different direction from the manga. Honestly, the anime sucked. I can't get my self to watch it anymore on Adultswim. It just got to the point where it just sadden me that they would ever do that. For example, the episode where scar and al team up? really? no way that would ever happen!
If you have to choose between the manga and the anime, the manga is 10x better.

Agree with you totally Kalli! Of course I think you give the first series A little too much credit. Though I haven't finished it either, I got to the same point you got to. I thought you said you were going to finish it, if you did, send me a message on some account and tell me what you thought.
